The Strange Creatures of Dungeons and Dragons

The world of Dungeons and Dragons is huge, it is made directly from the imagination of the player meaning there is an infinite amount of possibilities for any adventure! The imagination of the Dungeon Master and the party are all you have to go on so you could probably guess there would be some weird stuff in the D&D universe!

The Roving Mauler is one such oddity, it assumes the form of a lion with four arms revolving around its head! What about the Xenomorph? Like we discussed in the alien post the Xenomorph have attacked all genres of games including Popeye 3 and now they've taken over the land of Arazeth and your party must take them down! The Xenomorph and their entire biological chain from the Facehugger to the Alien Queen! Enjoy Half Life? Why not take a break from the series while you wait for Half Life 3 your Dwarven Bard could bring down a Headcrab Zombie from the series! You could make your own Half Life 3! Want more of your favourite enemies from video games? Look no further than Yoshi's Island where we find the Piranha Plant! They attack by popping their head out of "warp pipes"!

While fighting off Xenomorphs in deep space you might also come across a few Celestial Triceratops! These beings are dangerous to small prey and their prey just so happens to be you! While you're fighting the Triceratops beware of the Sidhe War Moose! These Moose are trained to kill while the warriors riding them kill more! Once you fought your way through the Moose army you may well face the Elder Gelatinous Pudding! You know, a jelly desert! A literal jelly dish is an enemy in the D&D universe! Someone imagined that as an enemy! Now you've been through quite an adventure! But you're far from done as you hear a buzzing in your ear! Could it be? It is! The Housefly! This enemy can't even attack you! It literally exists to annoy you! It's a master of dodging as you try to hit it! Sorry Baurm the Dwarven Bard your going to need a Fly Swatter to hit that beast!

Fear not though as we can find protection from a being known as Big McLargeHuge! A 45ft tall giant! But he's a real life, or D&D, BFG as he seeks to protect the creatures of the Swampland. Now you find yourself about to bring down the final boss, something that will make the Alien Queen look like a piece of cake: Bowser! He's surrounded by his Koopa Army and accompanied by Shy Guys and Dry Bones! Coming from the walls are the Boos as you hack and slash, or roll your oddly shaped dice, to victory! Now your Dwarven Bard has met an array of the various creatures of the constantly expanding D&D universe but you've only just started to scratch the surface! There's always another world out there...
