Sonic.exe part 2
Sonic stood in a pool of woodland critter blood with Tails approaching him. Tom could tell this wasn't the Sonic he knew and loved, this Sonic was a monster, a being of pure evil! He stood, blood running down his face, Tails fearing for his life and then the screen faded to black...
If Tom wasn't scared before, he was about to be! White text appeared on the black screen reading: "Hello. Do you want to play with me?" and suddenly Tom, or rather Tails, was taken to a new stage called "HIDE AND SEEK". This stage was an exact replica of Angel Island from Sonic 3 with the minor difference of everything being on fire and Tails went from looking worried to looking absolutely terrified! He turned to directly face Tom, making gestures that he wanted to get out of there, to run away as fast as possible! Tom obliged and Tails began to run as fast as he could, fleeing from whatever it was he was scared of, although, Tom felt very uneasy by Tails' reaction to this place. What could this collection of pixels be frightened of?
Tails ran through a desolate forest as the Kefka laugh began again, Tom kept Tails moving, not daring to slow down or stop! As Tails ran through the forest Sonic began to pop up everywhere, with black eyes save for two red dots! He still had blood coming from his eyes as he stalked Tails through the forest, it was painfully obvious to Tom that Sonic was toying with him, toying with Tails! Eventually Sonic vanished for a few moments before he began to fly after Tails. That's right: fly after Tails! He had the same flight animation as Metal Sonic from Sonic CD and he was very quickly gaining on Tails. Tails tripped over and Tom lost control of him, once again forced to watch the events, unable to escape them! Tom watched in horror as Tails held his head in his hands and began to cry for about 15 seconds. Tom wanted to look away but he couldn't! Sonic landed in front of Tails, blood pouring from his black eyes! Tails looked up in horror, Sonic lunged at Tails before the screen faded to black once again. This time, however, it was accompanied by a screeching sound and text which read "You're too slow, want to try again?"...
What happened? Did Sonic murder his best friend? Tom was brought back to the character select menu, the file he used Tails on had him trapped in the red static underneath his file! His eyes were black and bleeding and his bright orange fur was black. He looked like he was in pain, being tortured by some unknown force! Tom selected Knuckles on the next file only to be greeted by more laughter and a black screen. Text appeared after 10 seconds: "YOU CAN'T RUN"! Tom was scared, scared for his own safety! Scared for Tails, scared for Knuckles and dare he say it, scared for Dr Robotnik (Eggman)! Maybe Kyle was right, maybe he should have destroyed it! What further torture can be in store for Tom? Sonic, or whatever had possessed him, was out for blood and nothing could stop him! He killed the woodland critters, he killed Tails and he possibly killed Kyle! Tom knew one thing: he couldn't run...
