Weird Bosses: The Great Mighty Poo
Like Earthworm Jim the Conker series is very weird and nothing shows this better than the Great Mighty Poo, a vulgar, opera singing pile of, well, poo. Let's take a look and make sure we wash our hands afterwards!
The Great Mighty Poo is seen in Conker's Bad Fur Day , Conker in Project Spark and Conker: Live & Reloaded, he has set up base in Poo Mountain and now it's up to our hero, Conker, to defeat this menace. As Conker first ventures into the interior of Poo Mountain a Dung Beetle warns him of the terrible evil that lies at the mountain's core. It turns out that the Dung beetle's friends: Tezza and Bazza had been killed by being dragged into liquid poo, however, Conker doesn't really care about all of this and is just in the mountain in the hopes of finding some cash. Personally, I probably would just leave the cash in Poo Mountain but each to their own I guess.
As Conker ventures further into Poo Mountain he hears a voice from deep within the mountain calling out for Sweet Corn, not realising the voice was that of the Great Mighty Poo Conker knocks out some Sweet Corn (an enemy only found in Poo Mountain) and throws them into a great swirling pool. From below the pool a creature takes the Sweet Corn and finally the Great Mighty Poo emerges from the pool and faces Conker. He then begins his infamous song (one which I will not repeat here in the hope that we can salvage some form of a family friendly atmosphere that this blog had before today but you can find the song on YouTube if you want to hear it)!
This boss loves to sing as he throws faecal matter at you. But all is not lost for our hero as the Great Mighty Poo has one weakness: toilet paper and strangely he is surrounded by it in his chamber so all you need to do is throw it at him! Once he is considerably weaker Conker must then hit a button and flush the brute forever (or do you?)! So, we've gone from evil genius and wannabe dictator Goldfish to a large pile of singing poo, video games have some pretty weird bosses and we've barely scratched the surface!
